Copper wire, foxhole radio, amplifier, wood, jute rope, 8’h x 4’w

Two If By Sea is a site specific work for Convergence, a collaboration between Ship in the Woods and Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego. A circle of copper wire is transmitting radio signals to a handmade foxhole radio on top of a military lookout used during World War II. Referring to the collection of visual information by military personnel, Two If By Sea collects information from invisible  radio waves passing through the space.
