Sitting Waves invites viewers to interact with the overlapping radio waves present in the gallery space. Each copper wire acts as a radio antenna for the small radio receivers attached to each side of the seat. These radios are tuned to four different radio stations mixed together into a cacophonous sampling of information carried by radio waves at the location of the viewer.
